Free MOUD/ALTO Virtual Training
If you are a provider/prescriber in a rural hospital, clinic, or emergency department interested in learning how to treat patients with MOUD or in expanding your knowledge of Alternatives to Opioids (ALTO), attend one of MHA’s free MOUD and ALTO training sessions.
Those eligible for the training are providers/prescribers in hospitals, ERs and clinics in rural communities (excludes the Twin Cities Metro and Duluth).
The benefits of this training session include:
- Increase access to treatment for those suffering from opioid use disorder and offers ALTO for treating pain.
- Eligible to earn 4 CME units through the Minnesota Medical Association.
- It meets the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) requirements for MOUD.
- In our virtual training model, no travel is necessary.
