Civic Connections: Engaging with Your Elected Officials

This session will explore why and how hospital teams can effectively connect with their state and federal legislators to advocate for issues that matter most to them. MHA members will learn practical strategies for reaching out to policymakers, including crafting impactful messages, inviting them to visit your hospital, and building ongoing relationships with officials.
Whether you're new to civic engagement or looking to refine your approach, this session will empower you to amplify hospital’s needs and influence decisions that shape your community.
