The Minnesota Hospital Association (MHA) is hosting a Trustee Day at the Capitol for trustees to meet with their Minnesota state legislators to discuss MHA’s legislative focus areas and learn how these focus areas affect communities around Minnesota. This event will include a tour of the Minnesota State Capitol.

Trustees play a critical role in advocating for hospitals and health systems in their community. So, who better than trustees to meet with government officials to highlight the important work, the challenges, and opportunities happening across the state? Trustees will be encouraged to share personal stories of how their hospital or health system is impacted by timely issues including the health care workforce crisis and challenges with mental health care capacity.

Trustee Day at the Capitol is an all-day event that will be customized to accommodate potential legislative meetings. Meetings will be scheduled throughout the day, and there will be a virtual prep session in advance of the event to provide trustees with background information on the topics to be discussed.

This event is intended for MHA trustee member ONLY and is free to attend.
