This web conference is designed to guide health care professionals and organizations in creating more inclusive, accepting environments for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer/questioning (LGBTQ) patients. It will cover basic LGBTQ terminology, history, myths and stereotypes, as well as discuss barriers facing the LGBTQ community. Participants will learn actionable steps to take to be more LGBTQ inclusive and changes that can create a more inclusive organization.
